Not just another ATR. The right ATR.

The right ATR program can change everything.

Even a good program can fail if it is not the right fit for you. Getting it right this time means looking at why the earlier plan failed and what needs to be different. The problem usually falls into one of three areas:

Wrong or incomplete diagnosis

The treatment may have targeted substance use without identifying trauma, ADHD, mood disorder, cognitive limitations, or another condition driving the behavior.

Right treatment, wrong delivery

A client may need individual reinforcement, visual or written material, smaller groups, slower pacing, repetition, or other accommodations for treatment to actually work.

Not enough structure or support

The plan may have lacked the right level of care, provider coordination, monitoring, housing, transportation, or follow-through.

Why My Approach Is Different

Before practicing law, I studied clinical psychology at UC Berkeley and worked in diagnostic and neuropsychological assessment and research. That background changes the way I read evaluations, understand treatment failure, and build individualized ATRs.
