Sydne French
Probation Violation Attorney
My clients are people in crisis. They come to me seeking not only legal defense but also understanding, support, and hope during their toughest times.
I've been helping people beat their revocations, get ATRs, and go back home to their lives and their loved ones for nearly two decades now. It's what I love to do and it's what I do best!
Meet Sydne French
"My clients are people in crisis. They come to me seeking not only legal defense but also understanding, support, and hope during their toughest times.
For nearly two decades, I've been helping people facing probation violations get back home to their lives and their loved ones. It’s what I love to do and it’s what I do best! "
Why I do what I do.
There really is nothing quite like the feeling I get when I am able to beat a probation revocation and get a client back home to their family and loved ones.
It’s the best feeling in the world! I can still remember with great joy one client who called me in the middle of the night when he was released from jail. When I answered the phone, he simply said, “Guess where I am?!”
It’s moments like these that truly make my work a labor of love.
I start by listening
A big part of what I do is listen. My clients are people in crisis. Because they are sitting in jail, they feel they have no power or control over their future. They need to know someone is really listening to them, to their side of what really happened. Only then can we begin our work together. This is their life. So I start with them.
Reputation for Winning
Over the past two decades, I've earned a solid reputation for fighting and winning probation violation revocation hearings.
Creative ATRs
I am known by judges, probation agents for my creative and persuasive Alternatives to Revocation (ATRS).
Unique Approach
Find the cause, find the solution. My background in clinical psychology gives me an edge over other criminal defense attorneys. I look for (and find) the root cause of behaviors underlying the alleged violations to help my clients avoid revocation.
